MCA-Nepal organized a consultation with stakeholders at the Office of Chief Minister of Lumbini Province in Dang on 1 December 2023.
The purpose was to create a common understanding on the design of the 40 km road section from Dhankhola –Lamahi for the FDR, share technical details and benefits of the project and implementation plan with relevant stakeholders.
The meeting also gathered feedback and built consensus among district level and local authorities for project implementation.
Home Minister of the Province Hon. Santosh Pande, representatives from the Ministry of Finance, Department of Roads, MCC officials, provincial and local entities and other stakeholders from project implementation area took part in the meeting.
MCA-Nepal will maintain and upgrade 40 km of road section from Dhankhola to Lamahi of the East-West highway in Dang district by introducing innovative, climate-smart and cost-effective sustainable technologies on road maintenance.
