MCA-Nepal organized public hearing events in Dang district as a part of the Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) under its Road Maintenance Project to upgrade and maintain the 40 km road section from Dhankola to Lamahi from 26-28 August 2022.
The public hearings were conducted at Masuriya, Rapti Rural Municipality, Kalakate, Gadawa Rural Municipality and Lamahi, Lamahi Municipality in Dang, at Lahape, Sheetganga Municipality in Arghakhanchi and Chandrauta, Shiva Raj Municipality in Kapilabastu.
Elected representatives, local authorities and people from project affected area took part in a total of five hearings in municipalities of the road section to be upgraded.
