MCA-Nepal signed a Project Cooperation Agreement (PCA) under the Electricity Transmission Project (ETP) with Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) on 30 May 2023.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Khadga Bahadur Bisht, the Executive Director, MCA-Nepal, and Mr. Dirghayu Kumar Shrestha, Deputy Managing Director, the Transmission Directorate, NEA in the presence of Mr. Kul Man Ghising, the Managing Director, NEA.
The objective of the Electricity Transmission Project (ETP) is to increase electricity consumption by improving the availability and reliability of electricity supply in Nepal’s electricity grid and by facilitating power trade.
