Kathmandu, 30 May 2022. A Kick-off Meeting with Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL),
MCA-Nepal's Consultant for the Survey and Updated Line Design in 30 km of 400 kV Transmission Line (TL) Route Alignment was organized today.
The survey is being carried out for re-alignment of 30 km of transmission line to address grievances of project affected people. The survey will result in an updated design of TL route for Electricity Transmission Project.
Mr. Khadga Bahadur Bisht, Executive Director, MCA-Nepal provided the opening remarks and
highlighted upon the different sections of the transmission line required to be surveyed and redesigned.
Mr. Dilip Rozekar, Chief General Manager- International Business, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd., presented on the plan and timeline for the execution of deliverables in the survey and redesign of the sections required.
The meeting discussed on various guidelines to be followed in the course of the implementation of the activities that will take place in the coming months.
