MCA-Nepal has completed household surveys in Chitwan and Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East) to obtain a socio-cultural, demographic and economic database of project-affected families.
The surveys were conducted from May 21-25 in Chitwan and June 6-11 in Nawalparasi (Bardghat Susta East). These surveys will be carried out in all ten districts affected by the construction of transmission lines.
The process is also an integral part of MCA-Nepal’s Resettlement Action Plan.
