Compacts financed by the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) are subject to comprehensive monitoring and evaluation to ensure successful implementation of projects, and to define the quality and level of desirable outcomes. The Nepal Compact Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Plan is currently under development as per MCC’s Policy for Monitoring and Evaluation (2017). The M&E Plan will guide program implementation and management to ensure that MCA-Nepal, Government of Nepal, MCC, implementing partners, beneficiaries and other stakeholders understand the progress being made towards the achievement of objectives and results, and are aware of variances between targets and achievement during implementation.
